This course is offered via BTAA Korean e-school from University of Michigan and will meet as a video-conferencing class on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:00-1:20 PM (CT) in G 96 FLB. You will be paid $18 per hour, 3 hours per week. With the uncertainty with fall class instructions, it may move to Zoom class meetings as we did in Spring 2020.
The duties of the proctor will be as follows:
1. [In case of on-campus instruction] Attend a dry tech run (lasting about 30 min. to an hour) before the course starts (i.e., checking the equipment in G 96 FLB with Keith Frazier to see everything works well with the other two campuses)
2. [In case of on-campus instruction] Turn on and off the application on the computer for each class, check the attendance, and moderate any issues during the classes in G 96
3. Work as a liaison between students and the faculty teaching the class (e.g., emailing students at the request of a faculty if need be)
4. [In case of on-campus instruction] Assist with a campus visit by the teaching faculty once during the semester
For any questions about the position, please email Jeeyoung Ahn Ha, Director of the Korean language program at j-ahn3@illinois.edu.
